Rennes have announced a contract extension for Warmed Omari until the middle of 2026.

The northwestern French Football club released a statement on Thursday that it has extended the 21-year-old defender’s contract until mid 2026, from the one that expires in mid 2024.

“This is the second time this year I have extended my contract,” Omari said.

“It shows the club believes in me. I am proud to continue with this club. It is a reward for developing and being part of the team.”

The French centre-back has made 19 appearances for Rennes this season. Including 15 in Ligue 1, with the player performing well to become a starter. including being watched a lot in the past
