Barcelona will delay signing Alvaro Morata on loan as the first thing they need to do is to remove excess players from the club in January.

According to Spanish outlet Marca, a transfer from Morata to Barcelona may not take place in the near term. Because La Liga clubs have to sell surplus players such as Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti and Yusuf Demir, who are borrowed from Rapid Vienna.
